J-hooks can easily be trimmed or bent after assembly. Washers firmly hold wire mesh screen to the module assembly, preventing squirrels and rodents from damaging the interconnection wires and birds from nesting under the solar panel.

Slide the speed washer onto the shaft of the clip assembly until snug. Tighten speed washer to panel edge to immobilize the mesh. Cut off the clip assembly rod flush with the exterior of the speed washer by cutter.
